After being captured by a neighbour and taken to the animal shelter four weeks ago, we have let Pumpkin out of the house this morning for the first time since we got him home.

Baby has always been a very affectionate cat. He likes to get into your lap and then crawl onto your shoulder. On your shoulder, clinging on, he will headbutt you, and leave a bit of drool down your shoulder as he purs and drools when he's very happy. He's recently taken a trust in someone other than his "mommy" holding him.

Baby doesn't go outside as much as he used to, so when he does make a trip over to the tree for some stretching and scratching it's a bit of a special occasion.
